GAZIANTEP EU INFO CENTER
EU Information Centres Network has been functioning in Turkey since 1996 with the aim of informing audiences in the country about what the EU is and how Turkey and EU are working together. The first EU Information Center was established in Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce in 1996. The network currently operates in 20 provinces of Turkey providing information about the EU locally and organizing communication activities and cultural events such as conferences, meetings, exhibitions and concerts.
The EU Delegation has developed a comprehensive information network across the country to serve the information needs of local people. This network works closely with schools, non-governmental organisations, SMEs, universities and political decision makers as well as directly with the general public to ensure that people have access to up-to-date and accurate information on all EU-related themes.
