PLATFORM FOR UNITY IN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENTS
“COOPERATION PLATFORM IN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT”
As Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce, it was established to create cooperation between the Chambers for economic and regional development for the region which has a significant tourism, industry and trade potential. The platform consists of 7 Chamber (Kahramanmaras-Kilis-Sanliurfa-Adiyaman-Osmaniye-Antakya-Gaziantep) and 3 Agencies (Ika, Dogaka, Karacadag).
Providing effective use of regional resources, preparing joint projects with Regional Chambers in areas such as tourism, gastronomy, culture, etc., and conducting joint projects aimed at the development of the regional economy are among the activities envisaged within this scope. In order to establish this cooperation, it is important to organize meetings at regular intervals and to determine a road map.
The first cooperation meeting was held in January 2014 with the participation of the Presidents of the Board of Directors, Secretary General and Secretary General of Development Agencies.
