THE MOST EXTRAORDINARY PROJECT: THE SYRIA TABLE
While the number of Syrian companies registered with our Chamber before the civil war in Syria was only 12 in 2011, this number increased to 571 by the end of 2015. In this context, the Syria Desk was established in April 2016 by our Chamber, which has always been a pioneer, in order to serve our Syrian companies, to be a point of application at the point of solving the problems they face and to develop various projects to solve these problems. As of 2023, the number of Syrian Chamber members has approached 3,000.
Our Services:
1.Identifying the problems faced by Syrian companies that are members of our Chamber and trying to find solutions before the authorized institutions,
2.Organizing Professional and Personal Development Trainings,
3.Meeting all kinds of information and consultancy needs of Syrian member companies, directing them to the right authorities (Registration procedures, establishing a new company, member information, fairs, tenders, visa, banking problems, citizenship issues, new laws, the status of Syrian border gates ... etc.),
4.Organizing seminars and meetings on various subjects,
5.To develop projects in cooperation with local and foreign NGOs that carry out activities for Syrians in our city.
With the Syria Desk Project, our Chamber won the "Most Extraordinary Project" award at the World Chambers Congress organized by the World Union of Chambers in 2019 and ranked first in the world.
