The project, which aims to support the people in the region after the earthquake disaster in and around Gaziantep in February 2023, will be implemented between 2023 and 2024.

The "YANINDAYIZ CARAVAN" project, of which Yanındayız Association is the project owner and Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce is the project partner, aims to provide psychosocial support to women and children of all ages exposed to the negative living conditions caused by the earthquake in the 4 cities affected by the disaster for 12 months.

With psychosocial support, it is aimed to make women and children in this region feel safe, to make them feel valuable by restoring their sense of belonging, to reduce the long-term effects of trauma, to increase their resilience and to alleviate their suffering.

A team of experts in the field will visit villages in the earthquake region that need psychosocial support away from the provincial center with a caravan, and these visits are planned to be carried out 6 days a week. Within the framework of the visit plan, the expert team will go to one village a day and stay in this village for the whole day and have contact with women and children in the region. They will conduct closed and open group work with women. Social workers will conduct play-oriented group work with children simultaneously with psychologists.

The psychological support to be provided through group work aims to contribute to a collective process where people living in the same tent city socialize, learn to trust each other, share their experiences, communicate with each other and remember the sustainability of life.

While the project aims to increase the number of women and children to be touched, it also aims to ensure continuity.
